Position Overview
This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role oversees predictive, preventive, reliability-centered, and shutdown maintenance programs for electrical equipment across plant production and distribution facilities. The position ensures asset integrity, high equipment reliability, safe operations, and compliance with engineering standards while supporting technological upgrades, project execution, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute predictive and Reliability Centered Maintenance programs for electrical systems
* Conduct internal electrical safety audits and recommend corrective actions
* Prepare predictive, preventive, modification, and shutdown maintenance plans
* Provide engineering expertise for upgrades of obsolete electrical equipment
* Prepare scope of work, conduct detailed engineering, and support execution of capital and major maintenance activities
* Review maintenance practices and implement modern methodologies to enhance reliability
* Ensure optimum use of maintenance systems for job history, data quality, and reporting
* Supervise high-voltage switching activities in accordance with safety requirements
* Prepare method statements, verify electrical procedures, and review work scopes for contractors
* Participate in bid evaluations and inspect received materials for quality and compliance
* Provide technical support for design, implementation, and commissioning of electrical components in new projects
* Ensure compliance with company codes, engineering standards, and operational integrity requirements
* Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and advanced safety audits
* Participate in RCA meetings and support actions to prevent plant trip recurrences
* Support development of electrical spare parts plans and conduct periodic inventory reviews
* Coordinate with Planning, Scheduling, and Turnaround teams for shutdown preparation
* Provide leadership, delegate responsibilities, and act as Manager Electrical Maintenance when required
* Promote strong HSE culture and intervene in unsafe activities when necessary
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within oil and gas or petrochemical facilities
* Strong knowledge of electrical condition monitoring and SRCM
* Experience in design, installation, and commissioning of DCS, ESD, and PLC systems
* Skilled in technical report writing, coordination, and communication
* Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities
