Fabrication Supervisor – ADNOC Gas – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role Summary
ADNOC Gas is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to oversee and coordinate pipe fitting, welding, and boiler making activities across ADNOC Gas plants, central workshop facilities, and non-industrial areas. The role ensures that all fabrication works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ADNOC’s maintenance, safety, and quality standards.

What You’ll Do
* Supervise fabrication section activities, including welding, pipe fitting, and boiler making, across ADNOC Gas facilities.
* Plan and prioritize work orders, inspect sites, allocate resources, and provide technical guidance to craftsmen.
* Interpret piping, structural, and equipment drawings, coordinating with engineers to execute tasks accurately.
* Liaise with materials and inspection engineers for the release of materials, consumables, and quality checks.
* Ensure teams meet production standards in safety, quality, and productivity.
* Inspect in-progress and completed work, including contractor works during turnarounds, to confirm compliance with ADNOC standards.
* Arrange and manage tools, equipment, spare parts, and maintain inventory and calibration records.
* Obtain Permit to Work authorizations and prepare WMS and FRA documentation for plant jobs.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, costs, and assignments.
* Prepare activity reports, QA/QC checklists, and coordinate with other supervisors for joint works.
* Respond to emergencies, supervise overtime activities, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
* Intervene and stop unsafe activities when necessary and report safety incidents immediately.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Higher Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
* 5–8 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of quality standards, codes compliance, and HSE requirements.
* Proficiency in SAP for maintenance and work order management.
* Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Excellent English communication skills with the ability to write technical reports.
* Valid UAE driving license.
* Professional certifications in fabrication, welding, or safety are an advantage.
