HSE Audit Specialist - Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas Jobs
Role Summary
ADNOC is looking for an experienced HSE Audit Specialist to join its Abu Dhabi operations. The role focuses on planning, executing, and monitoring HSE audits across ADNOC and its Group Companies. This position ensures compliance with ADNOC Codes of Practice, international standards, and UAE regulations, while contributing to the development of HSE assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Duties
* Develop and update ADNOC Codes of Practice for HSE auditing in line with international standards.
* Design and implement the corporate annual and five-year HSE audit plans and lead audit activities.
* Monitor performance of HSE Management Systems across ADNOC Group Companies and projects.
* Conduct level 2 internal audits and lead level 3 corporate audits, including contractor audits.
* Review HSE risk management processes for critical tasks and ensure compliance with ADNOC guidelines.
* Evaluate project HSEIA implementation and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Prepare audit performance reports and ensure closure of corrective and preventive actions.
* Deliver training and awareness programs on HSE auditing and best practices.
* Act as a focal point for external and shareholder audits and regulatory inspections.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
* Minimum 8 years of HSE auditing experience in oil and gas operations.
* Strong understanding of ISO standards including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
* Certified Lead Auditor and NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
* Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage compliance programs effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and ADEHSMS is advantageous.
