The Job Performer - Radiation Safety will support safe work execution for inspection and radiographic testing-related activities across oil and gas project sites. The role is important because job performers are responsible for understanding work instructions, following permit conditions, applying site safety controls, and ensuring that assigned tasks are carried out without compromising people, equipment, or project compliance.
This position supports reliable project delivery by combining ASNT RT Level II knowledge, radiation safety awareness, ADNOC WMS procedures, risk control, safety documentation, and disciplined field communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform assigned site activities in line with approved work permits, ADNOC WMS requirements, and project safety procedures.
* Support radiographic testing-related work while following radiation safety regulations and site control measures.
* Apply ASNT RT Level II knowledge during inspection support activities and related field operations.
* Read, understand, and follow job instructions, method statements, risk assessments, and permit conditions.
* Coordinate with supervisors, safety teams, inspection personnel, and client representatives before and during work execution.
* Monitor work areas for safety compliance and report unsafe conditions, deviations, or operational concerns immediately.
* Support radiation monitoring, controlled area checks, and basic dosimetry-related safety practices where required.
* Assist with risk assessment, emergency response readiness, and safe work planning for assigned activities.
* Ensure tools, equipment, access points, and work areas are suitable before starting the job.
* Maintain proper communication with team members during field activities to avoid delays, confusion, or safety gaps.
* Support safety auditing, documentation updates, and compliance records connected to assigned work.
* Complete tasks within project timelines while maintaining high attention to safety, quality, and regulatory discipline.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum HSC, 12th standard, or equivalent qualification with relevant certification.
* ASNT RT Level II certification is required.
* WMS full package for ADNOC work is required.
* 5-8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, radiographic testing, inspection support, or industrial site work.
* Good communication skills with ability to read, write, and speak English at least at intermediate level.
* Understanding of radiation safety regulations, radiation monitoring, and site control practices.
* Practical awareness of risk assessment, emergency response planning, regulatory compliance, and safety auditing.
* Ability to work safely under supervision in a structured oil and gas project environment.
* Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to permits, procedures, and documentation.
* Ability to coordinate with inspection, safety, and project teams during daily site activities.
