Position Overview
ADNOC is seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer to supervise and coordinate all process engineering activities, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with operational and safety standards. This role will act as a technical authority, providing expertise for design reviews, project execution, and HSE-driven studies to support ADNOC’s operational excellence.

Position Summary
The Lead Process Engineer will oversee all process engineering work, ensuring accuracy, compliance with international standards, and alignment with ADNOC’s strategic goals. The role involves technical reviews, process optimization, and providing guidance during construction and commissioning phases of projects.
What You’ll Do
* Direct and supervise engineers in process engineering activities to meet project and operational goals.
* Review and approve engineering deliverables from EPC contractors for process and control compliance.
* Provide technical consultation during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages.
* Develop and maintain process engineering standards, design philosophies, and technical specifications.
* Support HSE workshops and risk assessment studies to ensure safe operations.
* Monitor progress reports, highlight problematic areas, and recommend corrective measures.
* Ensure ISO certification and compliance with ADNOC codes of practice and industry standards.
* Identify and recommend new technologies and best practices for enhanced performance.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas sector.
* Strong expertise in design reviews, process safety, and operations support.
* Ability to act as a technical authority and provide mediation on engineering disputes.
* Familiarity with HSE requirements and international engineering standards.
