Role Context
The Manager - Event Content Strategy will manage the planning, curation, production, and delivery of high-impact event content across corporate platforms. The position works closely with Group Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, business directorates, ADNOC Group Companies, external agencies, vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure every event message is clear, consistent, brand-aligned, and relevant to targeted audiences. By combining communications strategy, content design, multimedia storytelling, and event execution oversight, the role helps strengthen ADNOC’s reputation and improve engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement event content strategies aligned with organizational brand, communication objectives, reputation priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
* Curate, design, and deliver content for corporate events, leadership engagements, exhibitions, forums, conferences, and high-profile brand platforms.
* Ensure event content supports business objectives, corporate messaging, communication plans, and ADNOC’s overall brand positioning.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights, requirements, key messages, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations for event content development.
* Oversee production and delivery of presentations, videos, speeches, talking points, scripts, digital assets, multimedia material, and other event content.
* Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, visual identity, and branding across all event content and communication touchpoints.
* Support planning and execution of major corporate events, including ADIPEC and other strategic internal and external engagements.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of event content and recommend improvements to strengthen audience engagement, message recall, and brand impact.
* Manage relationships with external consultants, agencies, contractors, vendors, and production partners involved in content creation and event delivery.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, storytelling methods, event content innovation, and corporate communication techniques.
* Ensure event content activities comply with corporate policies, internal standards, brand guidelines, approval processes, and governance requirements.
* Represent the organization in external forums and events to support brand messaging and corporate reputation when required.
* Collaborate with the Group Communications Function leadership team to align event content strategies with overall communication goals.
* Engage with other directorates and functions to gather input, validate messaging, and ensure alignment on event content requirements.
* Support development and delivery of long-term and short-term operational plans for the division in line with function objectives.
* Manage day-to-day implementation of approved plans and convert them into measurable performance objectives.
* Provide input for divisional budgets and support implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
* Investigate and highlight significant budget variances to support performance tracking and cost control.
* Ensure implementation of division policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, internal controls, and company guidelines.
* Contribute to directorate KPIs and cascade performance objectives to direct reports.
* Support achievement of approved performance objectives in line with the company performance framework.
* Contribute to knowledge development, competency building, Personal Development Plans, succession planning, and talent pipeline support within the division.
* Support UAE National development and Emiratization targets through structured people development activities.
* Review and advise on organization structure improvements that optimize human capital and support sustainability in work practices.
* Communicate corporate business ethics and the company Code of Conduct to employees and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
* Recommend new tools and techniques to improve quality, efficiency, creativity, and delivery of operational processes.
* Recommend improvements in internal processes against best practices to improve efficiency and solve division-level challenges.
* Comply with HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, sustainability guidelines, and ADNOC Code of Practices.
* Provide inputs for section MIS reports, progress reports, management updates, and performance summaries.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, or a related field.
* Minimum 15 years of professional experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, brand communications, event content, or strategic messaging.
* At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
* Experience in a large-scale organization with complex business operations or exposure to multiple industries is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of corporate communication strategy development and implementation.
* Strong knowledge of public relations strategy, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and business-aligned communication planning.
* Proven ability to develop event content strategies that support brand reputation, executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and business results.
* Experience managing content for corporate events, exhibitions, leadership engagements, conferences, ADIPEC-style events, and high-profile forums.
* Skilled in curating and overseeing presentations, videos, multimedia assets, event messaging, scripts, speeches, and branded communication material.
* Strong understanding of brand consistency, visual identity, communication governance, content approval processes, and corporate standards.
* Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working and lead change.
* Strong knowledge of the group’s operations and multiple sectors, with the ability to tailor communication strategies to business requirements.
* Experience managing external agencies, vendors, consultants, production teams, and event content partners.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent English capability.
* Strong stakeholder management, planning, coordination, editorial judgment, and content quality assurance skills.
* Able to work with senior leaders, communications teams, business functions, external partners, and ADNOC Group Companies in a fast-paced corporate environment.
