Mechanical Maintenance Technician - ADNOC Abu Dhabi
Role Summary

You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and uphold ADNOC’s world-class standards in safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
* Execute scheduled predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance for plant equipment as per ADNOC standards
* Troubleshoot and repair all types of rotating and static equipment with minimal supervision
* Perform mechanical maintenance activities during shutdowns, emergencies, and plant start-ups
* Operate, repair, and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with recognized standards
* Conduct condition monitoring and report abnormalities or defects during inspections
* Manage workshop operations by maintaining tools, equipment lubrication, and housekeeping
* Identify spare parts using OEM manuals, diagrams, and ensure timely requisition
* Provide accurate time-writing and technical feedback in SAP for all completed tasks
* Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and modifications for new projects
* Participate in ADNOC’s on-call system to handle unplanned shutdowns and process upsets
Candidate Requirements
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
* 5–7 years of experience in maintenance of rotating and static equipment within oil/gas or petrochemical industry
* Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on expertise in repairs and overhauls
* Solid understanding of HSE standards and plant safety protocols
* Familiarity with SAP for maintenance reporting and MS Office tools
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and O&M manuals
* Effective communication and technical report writing skills in English
