Mechanical Maintenance Technician – ADNOC Group – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position Overview
Mechanical Maintenance Technician roles in Abu Dhabi with ADNOC Group support plant reliability by carrying out preventive, breakdown, and shutdown mechanical maintenance activities. This role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous operation of plant equipment in line with production, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and preventive mechanical maintenance, including replacement of worn or damaged parts
* Carry out major equipment overhauls, check clearances accurately, and determine part usage or replacement
* Participate in diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex mechanical faults
* Inspect and test completed maintenance work to ensure efficient equipment performance
* Prepare and submit daily activity reports detailing faults, work performed, materials used, manpower, and time taken
* Identify and arrange required spare parts, tools, and equipment to meet maintenance needs
* Execute new equipment installations, modifications, and testing as per approved plans and supervisor instructions
* Identify improvement opportunities and support senior personnel in system modifications
* Complete maintenance records in the system to support work order history and failure analysis
* Provide input for method statements and initiate near-miss reports when required
* Update and maintain mechanical drawings, records, and documentation to ensure equipment availability
Ideal Profile
* Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant mechanical field
* Experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial or oil and gas plant environments
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance, overhauls, and fault diagnosis
* Ability to follow safety procedures and maintenance standards
* Basic documentation and reporting skills
