Organization Development Manager - Organization Design

development strategies, guide organizational restructuring and provide management with specialist advice on long-term planning. The role covers the creation and realignment of group companies, joint ventures, mergers, directorate restructuring, manpower planning, operating models and business process development. It also supports governance of organizational changes and business transformation involving processes, culture and behavior.

Organization Development Responsibilities

- Design and deliver organization development interventions, team development initiatives and change management programs aligned with future business requirements.
- Maintain a coherent transformation and behavior change approach that supports readiness, adoption and sustainable results.
- Support Group-wide organization development strategies consistent with corporate plans and priorities.
- Provide organization design advisory services through the Centre of Excellence.
- Advise management on new company proposals, realignment of group companies, mergers and other restructuring initiatives.
- Assess alternative organization structures and coordinate implementation with management and discipline specialists.
- Oversee organizational reviews to establish suitable structures and manpower levels across group companies and ADNOC directorates.
- Develop and maintain organization manuals defining functions, responsibilities, reporting relationships and organizational interfaces.
- Initiate periodic organizational reviews and health checks to improve effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness.
- Evaluate organizational needs and manpower requirements, and manage external organization development consultancy services.
- Identify organization design issues, assess impacts through studies and benchmarks, and recommend risk mitigation measures.
- Review business unit organization development performance and readiness for growth and changing requirements.
- Share practical organization development approaches and support organizational change.

Department Management and Governance

- Plan and supervise departmental activities, personnel and resources against approved divisional objectives.
- Support employee development plans, succession planning and talent pipeline activities with the Human Capability Group, including Emiratization priorities.
- Contribute to budget preparation, monitor expenditure and investigate significant variances.
- Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls.
- Apply the company performance management system and monitor departmental KPIs, annual performance commitments and Balanced Scorecard measures.
- Review departmental structure and human capital utilization while incorporating sustainability into work practices.
- Encourage innovation, employee motivation and continuous improvement, including process improvements informed by ISO standards.
- Promote compliance with HSE and sustainability requirements and ensure appropriate employee HSE training and induction.
- Prepare departmental management information and progress reports for management.

Working Relationships

Collaborate with the Vice President, Organization Development, senior management across directorates and group companies, Human Capability Business Partners and organization development teams. Coordinate with Strategy, Workforce Planning, Performance and Reward, Talent and other human capital functions. Maintain contact with local and international vendors and third-party service providers.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or an equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in HR management, including organization development, organization design and related processes in a large organization, with at least 8 years in a relevant managerial role.

- Ability to diagnose organizational issues through effective relationships with line management.
- Understanding of business principles, industry drivers and the business value chain.
- Ability to integrate organization development activities into organizational plans.
- Project management, commercial awareness, strategic thinking, analysis, negotiation and planning.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills across varied organizational levels and backgrounds.

Preferred Professional Certifications

- Advanced professional certificate in Organization Design and Development.
- Certified Change Management Practitioner.
