Core Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all process engineering activities and provide technical consultation to operations teams.
* Prepare progress and performance reports, identify critical areas, and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; maintain ISO certification for the process section.
* Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables related to process and control systems.
* Assess system and equipment designs for safety, operability, and maintainability.
* Provide on-site technical consultation during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
* Act as Technical Authority for process discipline engineering, mediating technical disputes and validating key engineering documents such as philosophies, design bases, and policies.
* Develop, review, and update engineering standards, specifications, and codes of practice to align with international best practices and ADNOC requirements.
* Identify and recommend innovations and process improvements for enhanced operational performance.
* Participate in HSE-driven studies, risk assessments, and workshops to ensure compliance and safety across operations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering roles within oil and gas projects, including exposure to EPC stages and offshore environments.
* Strong understanding of design standards, technical integrity, and operational excellence.
* Hands-on knowledge of HSE compliance, process modeling, and simulation tools.
Professional Skills
* Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Familiarity with ADNOC standards and ISO certification processes is preferred.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to project locations; exposure to outdoor conditions during field work.
