Procurement Engineer - Abu Dhabi UAE
Role Summary
Wood is hiring a Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for key projects. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards for engineering and industrial projects.

What You’ll Do
* Prepare, review, and issue procurement documentation including RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders
* Negotiate supplier contracts and finalize commercial terms and conditions
* Coordinate with engineering, finance, and project teams for alignment of procurement activities
* Monitor supplier performance and manage onboarding processes
* Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and project schedules
* Support CAPEX procurement and manage technical packages for engineering projects
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
* 8–12 years of experience in procurement within engineering or industrial sectors
* Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier markets, and contract management
* Experience in CAPEX procurement and technical package handling
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial analysis skills
* Knowledge of steel materials and fabrication processes preferred
