Key Responsibilities
The position will maintain continuity between early engineering decisions and final facility readiness.
* Support technical delivery during concept selection, FEED and detailed engineering.
* Assist with construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activities.
* Draft and refine Statements of Requirements with relevant project stakeholders.
* Help establish execution strategies suited to scope, risk and operational constraints.
* Prepare technical information for consultant, PMC and EPC tender packages.
* Contribute to bidder evaluations and selection recommendations.
* Review contractor engineering documents for scope and specification conformity.
* Challenge unsuitable construction approaches and propose workable improvements.
* Track design, procurement and field progress against approved project schedules.
* Analyse developing constraints that could delay engineering or construction milestones.
* Coordinate corrective plans with responsible contractors and internal teams.
* Provide engineering input during constructability, value-improvement and project workshops.
* Manage technical interfaces involving licensors, vendors and discipline engineers.
* Participate in coordination meetings and record technical decisions requiring follow-up.
* Ensure that project solutions remain aligned with operations and Central Engineering.
* Evaluate contractor output against contractual milestones and quality expectations.
* Support cost teams with invoice checks and project-spending information.
* Analyse the technical basis of contractor claims before commercial negotiation.
* Assist with resolution of contract issues and completion of close-out requirements.
* Record variations and assess their potential effect on budget and schedule.
* Maintain visibility of engineering risks, trends and pending decisions.
* Organize required PHSER, ATR and technical risk-assessment activities.
* Verify compliance with applicable ADNOC engineering and quality standards.
* Confirm that HSE requirements are addressed during design and execution.
* Preserve complete project files, technical registers and close-out records.
* Prepare concise progress information for project and management reporting.
* Align commissioning requirements with construction-completion priorities.
* Examine commissioning procedures, readiness evidence and system documentation.
* Follow outstanding punch items and verify closure by responsible parties.
* Coordinate the transfer of completed facilities and supporting records to Operations.
* Assist during start-up and resolve project-related technical issues.
* Promote clearer coordination between engineering, procurement and execution functions.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering and at least six years of project-engineering experience within the oil and gas sector.
The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of multidisciplinary project execution, contractor monitoring and technical-quality assurance. Success requires the ability to interpret engineering deliverables, recognize interface risks and maintain constructive working relationships across project, operations and external delivery teams.
