Role Context
The QHSES Assurance Specialist supports procurement quality assurance and management system performance by maintaining strong audit discipline, document governance, KPI tracking, and process standardization. This role strengthens supplier compliance, operational reporting, and continuous improvement while ensuring quality systems remain aligned with project requirements and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform internal and external audits monthly according to approved plans and ensure timely reporting of findings and results
* Update established procedures and assist in preparing new procedures and work instructions within required timelines
* Assist in developing statistical tools and analysis methods to monitor KPI, quality indicators, COQ, and other performance measurements
* Maintain and publish KPI, QI, and Cost of Quality reports for fabrication yards and projects on monthly and quarterly cycles
* Prepare and review procedures, work instructions, and management system governance documents
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit findings and support effective root cause analysis of quality issues
* Facilitate and lead project teams, specialists, and process owners to complete process improvement implementation
* Apply Lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques to resolve deficiencies and improve operational performance
* Promote best practices, process discipline, and standardization across departments and project teams
* Coach and mentor process owners on trend analysis and data-driven decision-making for better operational outcomes
* Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day verification audits to ensure sustainability of corrective actions before final closure
* Support the maintenance of new management systems by reviewing and revising policies and procedures
* Present management system results and performance reports to site and business leadership teams
* Perform quality assurance reviews of management system documents and manage review cycle approvals
* Administer EDMS repositories including document uploads, voids, supersedes, deletions, and version control
* Provide EDMS training for new users and assign access rights after training completion
* Support document template enforcement and management system integration across the company
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or a relevant technical field of study
* Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, procurement quality, or industrial quality assurance
* Strong understanding of procurement QA across Mechanical, Piping, Structural, E and I, and Pipeline disciplines
* Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other recognized Quality Management Systems
* Internal Auditor training and certification preferred
* Strong knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and practical implementation
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
* Strong experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and EDMS platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
