Role Context
The QHSES Assurance Specialist helps maintain strong operational standards by supporting audits, process control, document management, and continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication yards and project operations. This role strengthens compliance, improves reporting accuracy, and ensures management systems remain effective, measurable, and aligned with company and client quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform monthly internal audits according to approved plans and ensure timely reporting of findings and corrective actions
* Update existing procedures and assist in preparing new procedures and work instructions based on operational requirements
* Maintain and publish KPI, quality indicators, and cost of quality reports for fabrication yards and projects on monthly and quarterly cycles
* Assist in developing statistical tools and analysis methods for monitoring performance measurements and quality standards
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit findings and support effective root cause analysis
* Facilitate project teams and process owners to implement corrective actions and process improvement initiatives
* Use Lean tools, analytical methods, and structured problem-solving techniques to resolve quality deficiencies
* Promote best practices, standardization, and stronger process discipline across operations
* Coach process owners on trend analysis, data-driven decisions, and sustainability of improvement actions
* Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day verification audits to ensure corrective actions remain effective before final closure
* Support maintenance of new management systems by reviewing and revising policies, procedures, and governance documentation
* Manage document review cycles, expedite approvals, and publish final approved documents within EDMS
* Maintain document repositories, system attributes, voids, supersedes, and deletion records for compliance control
* Administer EDMS training and assign system access rights for new users
* Report management system updates regularly to leadership and company platforms
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, or industrial quality assurance environments
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other recognized quality management systems
* Internal Auditor certification and experience with audits and compliance reporting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process discipline
* Experience working with EDMS, management systems, and process improvement frameworks
* Strong communication skills for reporting, training, and stakeholder collaboration across departments
* Ability to lead improvement initiatives while also working effectively as part of a team
