Role Context

The QHSES Assurance Specialist supports operational excellence by maintaining strong management systems, audit compliance, and process improvement across fabrication yards and project operations. This role strengthens reporting accuracy, document governance, corrective action tracking, and quality assurance standards while helping project teams meet corporate and client expectations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform monthly audits according to approved audit plans and ensure timely reporting of findings and corrective actions
* Update established procedures and assist in preparing new procedures and work instructions within required timelines
* Assist in developing statistical tools and analysis methods to monitor KPI, quality indicators, and performance measurements
* Maintain and publish KPI, quality indicators, and cost of quality reports for fabrication yards and projects on monthly and quarterly cycles
* Prepare and review procedures, work instructions, and governance documentation for management systems
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review audit findings and ensure effective root cause analysis of quality issues
* Facilitate and lead project teams, process owners, and specialists to complete process improvement implementation
* Apply Lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques to resolve deficiencies and improve operational performance
* Promote best practices, process discipline, and standardization across departments and projects
* Coach and mentor process owners on trend analysis and data-driven decision-making
* Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day verification audits to ensure sustainability of corrective actions before final closure
* Support the maintenance of new management systems by reviewing and revising policies and procedures
* Perform quality assurance review of management system documents and manage review cycle approvals
* Maintain EDMS repositories, system attributes, document supersedes, deletions, and version control
* Administer EDMS training for new users and assign user access rights after training completion
* Support document template enforcement and management system integration across the company

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or a relevant field of study
* Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, or industrial quality assurance environments
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other recognized Quality Management Systems
* Internal Auditor certification with experience in audit planning and compliance reporting
* Strong understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and practical implementation
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
* Experience working with EDMS, management systems, and process governance platforms
* Strong communication skills for reporting, training, and stakeholder engagement across departments
