Role Context
The QHSES Assurance Specialist uses established procedures, technical judgment, and previous experience to address routine quality challenges with moderate guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete monthly audits according to the approved assurance schedule.
* Document audit findings and distribute accurate reports within required deadlines.
* Review established procedures and coordinate necessary updates.
* Assist process owners with preparing new procedures and work instructions.
* Develop statistical methods for tracking KPIs, quality indicators, and related measurements.
* Compile cost-of-quality information for key fabrication-yard and project functions.
* Issue monthly and quarterly performance reports in approved formats.
* Review audit findings with internal stakeholders and support root-cause investigations.
* Lead teams implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
* Apply analytical techniques, Lean principles, and structured problem-solving methods.
* Help process owners address deficiencies and prevent their recurrence.
* Establish practical best practices supporting process discipline and standardization.
* Coach process owners in trend analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
* Assess process performance and recommend changes needed to meet quality standards.
* Perform 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day verification audits.
* Confirm the sustainability of corrective actions before approving final closure.
* Coordinate with functional leadership to measure and validate revised process outputs.
* Maintain new management systems through document reviews and policy revisions.
* Present management-system performance to site and business leadership.
* Represent the Quality function on assigned improvement projects.
* Complete quality-assurance reviews of management-system documents within governance timelines.
* Coordinate documents through review, approval, and controlled publication.
* Maintain the central repository for documents submitted by functional users.
* Verify document attributes to preserve reporting quality and system accuracy.
* Process document withdrawals, superseded versions, and approved deletions.
* Deliver electronic document management training to new users.
* Assign appropriate system rights after users complete required training.
* Support the creation and enforcement of standardized document templates.
* Advise functional users on document development and repository organization.
* Publish biweekly and monthly management-system activity updates.
* Format integration documents and coordinate companywide approval and incorporation.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline is preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of quality experience in EPC construction or fabrication.
* Internal Auditor training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or another globally recognized system.
* Strong understanding of Lean and continuous-improvement practices.
* Broad experience with management systems and related software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Able to evaluate complex data, specifications, and technical information.
* Capable of developing logical workflows and clear operating procedures.
* Creative when designing practical solutions to quality challenges.
* Able to simplify technical concepts for written, visual, and training materials.
* Comfortable working where procedures or requirements are not fully standardized.
* Able to lead project teams and collaborate effectively as a team member.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and performance targets.
