Role Context
This role plays a critical part in transitioning maintenance practices from reactive to predictive by applying reliability engineering methodologies. It directly contributes to reducing equipment failures, optimizing asset performance, and improving overall operational reliability within ADNOC’s energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues
* Implement Asset Performance Management and Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies
* Develop and apply maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce downtime
* Participate in brownfield and greenfield engineering projects to enhance system performance
* Identify potential equipment failures using predictive maintenance tools
* Maintain failure reporting systems and analyze trends for continuous improvement
* Provide technical recommendations for equipment upgrades and refurbishments
* Review technical packages for new projects and advise on equipment selection and redundancy
* Support operational teams in developing condition monitoring techniques
* Lead reliability initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
* Recommend modifications or replacements to address technical challenges
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum 6 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance roles
* Strong understanding of RCM, RCFA, and predictive maintenance techniques
* Experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
* Good communication and collaboration skills
