Response Team Leader – ADNOC Logistics and Services Abu Dhabi
Role Summary
ADNOC is seeking an experienced Response Team Leader to manage Operations, Safety, Logistics, and Maintenance within the Oil Spill and Hazardous Noxious Substances (HNS) Response Base. The role ensures readiness of equipment and personnel, supervises incident response activities, and drives continuous improvement in operational capability through leadership, training, and HSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise implementation of all HSE, operational, and logistical plans to maintain maximum readiness for response operations.
* Represent the Base Manager when required and oversee team handovers for seamless operational continuity.
* Train and mentor Oil Spill and HNS Officers and Responders in alignment with ADNOC standards.
* Develop and implement site-specific protection plans and tactical response strategies.
* Monitor and report on operational readiness, maintenance checks, and compliance with ADNOC’s 100% HSE culture.
* Manage procurement for response equipment and consumables, ensuring optimal availability at all times.
* Lead and coordinate emergency response as On Scene Commander during oil spill or HNS incidents.
* Oversee demobilization and remediation post-incident, ensuring proper documentation and lessons learned.
* Handle HR-related processes such as staff rotations, attendance, and medical compliance.
* Maintain accurate reporting for incidents, budgets, and operational performance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical discipline.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in Oil Spill and HNS Response operations.
* Strong knowledge of emergency response planning, tactical coordination, and incident command systems.
Certifications (Mandatory)
* OPRC OSR Level 3 or IMO Level 3
* ICS 100, 200, 300
* HNS Operational Level
* STCW, T-BOSIET
* NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
* Preferred: Boat Operator’s License, Heavy Truck/Forklift license
