Role Context
The Sales Manager - Oilfield Trading will lead commercial
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales plans aligned with revenue, margin, and business development objectives.
* Identify new opportunities with oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, drilling companies, service providers, and industrial customers.
* Build long-term relationships with procurement teams, technical stakeholders, project managers, and senior decision-makers.
* Manage key accounts while expanding business from existing customers through structured follow-up and opportunity development.
* Lead tender preparation, commercial quotations, technical coordination, and submission processes.
* Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, supply agreements, and contracts while protecting business margins.
* Coordinate with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to support timely order execution.
* Track customer requirements and recommend suitable oilfield equipment, products, and supply solutions.
* Monitor competitor activity, pricing movements, project developments, and changing customer demand within Oman.
* Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts, opportunity updates, and periodic performance reports.
* Support junior sales personnel with customer strategy, product positioning, tender preparation, and account development.
* Follow company procedures and applicable HSE requirements during customer visits, site activities, and commercial operations.
* Ensure commitments made during negotiations are communicated clearly to procurement, logistics, and customer support teams.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
* MBA or additional commercial qualification is advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience in oilfield equipment sales, trading, or business development.
* Practical sales experience within the Oman oil and gas market is essential.
* Established professional network among oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, service companies, and industry stakeholders in Oman.
* Strong technical understanding of oilfield equipment, industrial products, and associated supply processes.
* Proven history of winning business, developing new accounts, and achieving commercial targets.
* Comfortable managing tenders, quotations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
* Strong communication, presentation, relationship management, and negotiation capabilities.
* Fluent English and Hindi communication skills.
* Arabic language capability is an advantage.
* Valid Oman driving license is mandatory.
* Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
