Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Business Studies department to ensure exceptional teaching standards and consistent academic performance.
* Develop and implement an engaging business curriculum aligned with international education standards and school objectives.
* Mentor and support Business teachers through professional development, coaching, and collaborative planning.
* Monitor student progress, assessment practices, and learning outcomes to maintain high achievement levels.
* Promote innovative teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and real-world application of business concepts.
* Foster a positive classroom culture that supports student engagement, wellbeing, and academic growth.
* Work closely with school leadership to support curriculum development, inspections, and school improvement initiatives.
* Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, enterprise programs, and student leadership initiatives.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven leadership experience within a Business Studies department or similar academic role.
* Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
* Strong understanding of international or British curriculum frameworks.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
* Passion for innovation in education and commitment to continuous professional growth.
* Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
