The Senior Instrumentation Designer is responsible for developing accurate, constructible, and coordinated instrumentation design deliverables from conceptual and FEED stages through detailed engineering, fabrication, construction support, and as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare conceptual, FEED, study, and detailed instrumentation design drawings with high technical quality and consistent presentation.
* Develop 3D instrumentation models and coordinate with other disciplines to achieve clash-free design.
* Produce drawings and models that provide clear information for fabrication, installation, construction, and commissioning teams.
* Complete assigned design deliverables in accordance with project specifications, Master Document Register requirements, procedures, and approved schedules.
* Review the Contract Scope of Work, project specifications, schedule, and interdisciplinary requirements before progressing design activities.
* Identify design concerns, missing information, technical constraints, and interface issues at the earliest practical stage.
* Raise change notifications when scope changes are identified and provide supporting technical documentation, estimates, and design input.
* Assist with Variation Order support where changes affect instrumentation design scope or required man-hours.
* Coordinate with engineering disciplines to obtain information required for instrumentation layouts, models, and drawings.
* Provide design information to other disciplines so their engineering deliverables can proceed without unnecessary delay.
* Maintain clearly defined interfaces between instrumentation and other engineering disciplines.

* Support fabrication teams in resolving construction difficulties resulting from design clashes, field conditions, or incomplete information.
* Monitor design progress and maintain discipline deliverable registers throughout project execution.
* Ensure drawings and documents are completed, issued, and archived in accordance with the Project Execution Plan.
* Keep the Lead Designer informed regarding progress, technical concerns, manpower requirements, and potential budget impacts.
* Provide information supporting actual progress measurement, planning, forecasting, and productivity reporting.
* Report design errors promptly and recommend practical corrective solutions.

* Detailed knowledge of instrumentation drafting and industry design standards.
* Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting systems.
* Advanced experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
