The Senior Manager - Talent Development will guide business areas in building sustainable capability pipelines by connecting talent assessments, succession planning, leadership development, learning programs, employee growth pathways, and workforce analytics. The position advises senior leaders on talent risks and development priorities while ensuring enterprise frameworks are applied consistently across business units. By using data-driven insights, portfolio-level learning evaluation, and structured talent governance, the role helps strengthen future leadership readiness, employee development experience, and organizational performance across ADNOC Group.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the translation of enterprise talent development frameworks into business-specific strategies that address capability gaps and future workforce needs.
* Oversee execution of talent development initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.
* Consolidate business insights, capability trends, and development feedback to support continuous enhancement of enterprise talent approaches.
* Oversee succession planning across assigned portfolios by identifying critical roles, leadership risks, readiness levels, and development priorities.
* Validate talent assessments, succession outcomes, and pipeline decisions to ensure consistency, objectivity, and alignment with enterprise standards.
* Direct targeted interventions to strengthen bench strength, leadership readiness, succession depth, and continuity for critical positions.
* Align learning strategies with business capability requirements by integrating learning priorities into workforce and talent plans.
* Partner with Centers of Excellence to prioritize, scale, and evaluate learning programs focused on enterprise-critical skills and leadership capabilities.
* Review learning effectiveness at portfolio level and direct adjustments to improve impact on performance, productivity, and workforce readiness.
* Advise senior business leaders on talent strategy, succession risks, capability gaps, development investment, and leadership pipeline priorities.
* Shape workforce strategies by integrating talent development, succession planning, and learning solutions into broader business plans.
* Influence leadership decisions through talent analytics, workforce scenarios, capability insights, and forward-looking development recommendations.
* Establish mechanisms to monitor talent development and succession initiatives through defined KPIs, dashboards, and performance indicators.
* Analyze workforce data and talent insights to identify systemic risks, capability trends, readiness concerns, and improvement opportunities.
* Drive corrective actions to ensure development initiatives remain aligned with strategic objectives and deliver intended business outcomes.
* Shape the employee development experience by embedding structured career pathways, growth opportunities, leadership development, and role-based capability plans.
* Promote a performance-driven and development-focused culture aligned with ADNOC’s people and capability value proposition.
* Plan and supervise department activities, personnel, and resources to achieve division objectives efficiently and cost-consciously.
* Develop department knowledge, competencies, and innovation by supporting Personal Development Plans, succession planning, and talent pipelines.
* Coordinate with the Human Capability Group to strengthen employee development with emphasis on UAE Nationals and Emiratization targets.
* Provide input for division budgets, monitor department expenditure, and investigate significant variances to support performance and cost control.
* Lead implementation of approved policies, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls in line with company and international standards.
* Implement the company performance management system and monitor department KPIs linked to annual performance contracts and the balanced scorecard.
* Review and recommend organization structure improvements that optimize human capital and support sustainable business objectives.
* Encourage innovation, employee motivation, and change management initiatives to improve services and operational effectiveness.
* Propose internal process improvements against best practices and ISO standards to create more efficient talent development solutions.
* Support HSE culture, ensure relevant HSE training and induction, and comply with applicable sustainability guidelines and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Ideal Profile

* Strong experience in talent development, learning strategy, succession planning, workforce planning, leadership development, or human capability management.
* Proven ability to translate enterprise talent frameworks into practical business-level development strategies.
* Strong understanding of succession planning governance, critical role identification, talent assessment, readiness measurement, and leadership pipeline development.
* Experience advising senior leaders on capability gaps, talent risks, employee development, and workforce priorities.
* Ability to use talent analytics, workforce data, and performance insights to guide business decisions and development interventions.
* Strong knowledge of learning strategy, leadership programs, employee value proposition, career pathways, and development effectiveness evaluation.
* Experience managing department plans, budgets, KPIs, operational performance, and internal governance requirements.
* Good understanding of performance management systems, balanced scorecards, annual performance contracts, and structured capability development.
* Ability to support Emiratization objectives through talent pipelines, Personal Development Plans, succession planning, and national workforce development.
