* Lead the preparation, maintenance, troubleshooting, assignment, and deployment of advanced welding and Field Joint Coating equipment.
* Provide equipment engineering support for onshore and offshore pipeline applications.
* Define robust and reliable equipment solutions suitable for harsh onshore and marine operating environments.
* Ensure equipment solutions address applicable safety, quality, reliability, and technical requirements.
* Lead technical activities involving automated and mechanized pipeline joining systems.

* Pipeline peripheral equipment, including coils and demagnetization equipment.
* Welding equipment used for offshore pipeline installation.
* Equipment supporting S-lay and J-lay pipelay operations.
* Installation, maintenance, preparation, and operational troubleshooting of pipeline equipment.
Field Joint Coating Equipment
The Senior Principal Engineer will provide specialist expertise across Field Joint Coating equipment and associated technologies, including:
* Induction Field Joint Coating coils.
* Blasting equipment.
* FBE - Fusion Bonded Epoxy equipment.
* IMPU - Injection Molded Polyurethane equipment.
* IMPP - Injection Molded Polypropylene equipment.
* Other Pipeline Equipment items required for offshore and onshore pipeline execution.
The position requires hands-on understanding of equipment preparation, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, and operational performance across these systems.
Offshore Pipeline Applications
* Support welding and Field Joint Coating equipment deployed during offshore pipeline installation.
* Apply practical knowledge of S-lay and J-lay installation operations.
* Ensure specialized equipment is properly prepared and suitable for planned offshore activities.
* Address technical and operational equipment issues affecting pipeline installation.
* Coordinate with relevant project teams to support equipment readiness and deployment.

Technical Coordination and Improvement
