Role Context
The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist is responsible for improving business performance by managing quality assurance systems, compliance standards, and operational controls across project execution. This role supports stronger documentation processes, audit readiness, KPI monitoring, and corrective action planning to ensure projects meet international quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of new management systems and quality assurance frameworks
* Work with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts to improve major quality systems initiatives across departments
* Coordinate with Quality Directors to resolve complex quality issues affecting operations and project delivery
* Maintain QC system attributes to ensure accurate reporting and document traceability
* Assist in removing outdated legacy practices and implementing standardized quality procedures
* Deliver training and onboarding support for new team members related to quality systems and compliance
* Develop, review, and enforce document templates for procedures, plans, and technical documentation
* Provide best practice guidance for document structure, system organization, and process consistency
* Plan, organize, write, and edit engineering procedures and company work instructions
* Perform quality checks of documents with strong focus on clarity, grammar, technical accuracy, and consistency
* Support project bid submissions related to quality assurance and compliance requirements
* Conduct monthly internal and external audits and ensure timely reporting of audit findings
* Monitor KPI, quality indicators, and performance trends to improve benchmarking and operational efficiency
* Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive action plans
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering, technical, or quality-related discipline
* Minimum 8 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, or industrial quality assurance environments
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, or other recognized Quality Management Systems
* Experience in internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and document control management
* Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for working across multiple departments and teams
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills for reporting, presentations, and training delivery
