Role Context
The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist is responsible for strengthening procurement quality assurance and improving management systems across multiple engineering disciplines. This role supports supplier quality performance, audit readiness, document governance, and continuous improvement while ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained across fabrication, procurement, and EPC project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of new management systems and procurement quality frameworks
* Partner with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts to drive major Quality Systems initiatives across operations
* Work with Quality Directors to identify and resolve complex issues affecting multiple departments and project functions
* Maintain QC system attributes for accurate quality reporting and document traceability
* Assist in removing legacy practices and transitioning teams to improved management systems
* Administer onboarding and training for new team members and support knowledge transfer across departments
* Participate in the design, implementation, and enforcement of company document templates and governance standards
* Advise stakeholders on best practices for document creation, organization, and management system compliance
* Report project quality status and execution progress according to approved plans and management requests
* Develop, organize, write, review, and edit engineering procedures, work instructions, and technical documents
* Perform quality checks of documents focusing on structure, grammar, consistency, and technical clarity
* Manage revisions and updates to technical literature and operational procedures
* Support project bids and proposals related to procurement quality requirements when required
* Conduct internal and external audits monthly and ensure timely reporting of findings and corrective actions
* Oversee KPI, quality indicators, and performance quality trends while supporting benchmarking and lessons learned
* Analyze performance data to support target setting, future planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues and ensure effective corrective action implementation
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical or engineering field
* Minimum 8 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, procurement quality, or industrial quality assurance
* Strong knowledge of procurement quality assurance across mechanical, E and I, structural, piping, and pipeline disciplines
* Experience with ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, or other recognized Quality Management Systems
* Internal Auditor training and experience in audit execution and compliance reporting preferred
* Strong understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles and practical implementation
* Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly
