Role Context
The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and improving quality assurance systems across major engineering, procurement, construction, and fabrication operations. This position ensures that internal procedures, audits, KPI tracking, and compliance standards support safe, efficient, and high-performing project execution. The role directly contributes to operational reliability, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of new quality management systems and structured assurance processes
* Coordinate internal and external audits in line with monthly audit plans and ensure timely reporting of findings
* Prepare, review, and improve procedures, work instructions, engineering documents, and company templates
* Work closely with Quality Directors and functional process experts to resolve complex quality assurance issues
* Monitor KPI, quality indicators, and performance trends to support benchmarking and lessons learned
* Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
* Conduct document quality reviews focusing on grammar, structure, consistency, and compliance requirements
* Assist in removing outdated legacy practices and replacing them with standardized management system processes
* Support project bid requirements related to quality assurance and compliance documentation
* Deliver training and guidance for new team members and promote best practices across departments
* Analyze reporting data to support future planning, compliance targets, and operational improvement initiatives
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, quality, or technical discipline
* Minimum 8 years of experience in EPC construction, fabrication, or large-scale industrial projects
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, or similar recognized quality management systems
* Experience in audits, document control, compliance reporting, and process improvement
* Ability to lead teams while also working effectively across cross-functional departments
* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex and changing business environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and presentations
* Strong organizational ability with attention to detail and structured follow-up
