Role Context
The Senior Quality Operations Technician is responsible for coordinating source inspection activities and supporting product conformity verification across project execution. This role strengthens supplier quality control, inspection scheduling, corrective action management, and compliance assurance while helping project teams maintain delivery standards and successful client handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all source inspection activities across assigned projects to ensure compliance with project quality requirements
* Report daily inspection activities to supervisors and highlight deficiencies for timely corrective action
* Liaise with Assurance Specialists, Procurement Coordinators, TPI agencies, Expeditors, Supplier Inspectors, Clients, Certifying Authorities, Package Managers, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
* Issue inspection notifications to clients and assigned inspectors according to project schedules
* Ensure all required documents are approved before scheduling final inspections, FAT activities, and closeout of NCR, TQ, and related records
* Assist supervision in determining product conformity to customer specifications through inspections, surveillance, and testing activities
* Identify non-conformities and ensure proper corrective action and final resolution are completed
* Support supervision in evaluating product quality against approved drawings, inspection plans, and customer specifications
* Ensure all inspection results are properly documented and corrective action records are raised where required
* Coordinate inspection interfaces with operations, certifying authorities, clients, job sharing teams, and subcontractors
* Support field inspections according to project specifications, scope of work, and approved Quality Plans and ITPs
* Confirm adherence to procedures and project plans through effective audits, surveillance, and quality checks
Ideal Profile
* High school diploma or degree in a relevant technical field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality-related discipline within EPC, fabrication, or industrial project environments
* Strong understanding of source inspection, supplier quality assurance, and inspection documentation processes
* Experience working with FAT, NCR, technical queries, and inspection and test plans
* Strong attention to detail with ability to identify quality deviations and support corrective actions
* Good communication and coordination skills for working across suppliers, inspectors, and project teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general business operating systems
* Ability to work independently while maintaining strong compliance and reporting standards
