Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering activities for offshore Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI projects, ensuring adherence to FEED and detailed engineering requirements
- Conduct structural analysis, design calculations, and technical reviews for offshore platforms, jackets, and subsea structures
- Develop and review project specifications, design reports, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize design efficiency and ensure compliance with international engineering standards
- Perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals and oversee subcontractor deliverables
- Conduct risk assessments, structural integrity evaluations, and feasibility studies for offshore installations
- Provide engineering expertise in resolving construction and installation challenges
- Ensure all structural designs comply with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Participate in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews to ensure alignment with project goals
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 10-25 years of relevant experience in structural engineering for offshore Oil & Gas projects
- Strong expertise in FEED and detailed engineering within EPC/EPCI environments
- Experience working with leading EPC contractors such as McDermott, L&T, Petrofac, or similar companies
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software for offshore structures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams
