Role Summary
Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking an experienced Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) Administrator to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing SPI setup, administration, and configuration for major oil & gas and petrochemical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working on ADNOC-related projects.

What You’ll Do
* Configure and administer Smart Plant Instrumentation for complex engineering projects
* Develop SPI project standards, documentation, and templates
* Set up and maintain SPI databases, customization files, and reports
* Provide technical support for SPI tools including instrument index, wiring, and loop diagrams
* Integrate SPI with other engineering systems such as SPPID and SPF
* Conduct SPI user training sessions and ensure adherence to best practices
* Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to optimize SPI workflows
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including process, electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering
* Support parallel engineering through database split-offs and configuration management
* Maintain compliance with project safety, quality, and schedule requirements
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
* Minimum 15 years of engineering design experience in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors
* At least 8 years in SPI administration and support for large-scale projects
* Certification in Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation preferred
* Proficiency in SPI modules including instrument specs, wiring, loop diagrams, and process datasheets
* Strong knowledge of database management (MSSQL/ORACLE) and SPI customization
* Experience using InfoMaker for custom reports and specification sheets
* Familiarity with DCS, ESD, PLC systems, and related wiring layouts
* ADNOC project experience highly desirable
* Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
* Knowledge of VB (.NET) programming is an advantage
* Ability to train new users and manage SPI-related project deliverables
