Role Context
The Superintendent Construction is responsible for leading fabrication construction activities and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. This role manages workforce productivity, planning coordination, quality compliance, and subcontractor performance while maintaining strong alignment with engineering, project management, and HSE standards. The position plays a critical role in achieving project milestones and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct and manage fabrication construction activities in line with project specifications, schedules, and company standards
* Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to align project phases, workforce planning, and resource allocation
* Implement and enforce comprehensive HSE protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace and strong safety culture
* Ensure full compliance with quality control requirements, industry codes, and project specifications across all construction activities
* Optimize workforce scheduling, equipment allocation, and material procurement to improve productivity and project delivery
* Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure performance meets contractual obligations and operational standards
* Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely progress reports and updates to stakeholders
* Build strong coordination across all project disciplines to maintain shared planning targets and execution alignment
* Review and discuss the next four weeks of planned activities and assign manpower based on productivity-focused MLF planning
* Lead implementation, enforcement, and compliance verification of all company policies and procedures
* Ensure employees understand their responsibilities and authority for effective policy execution
* Monitor completion of mandatory training requirements for all team members and supervisors
* Mentor construction staff and promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and workforce development across the project
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
* Advanced industry-specific certifications are highly preferred
* Extensive experience in the EPCI industry with strong leadership exposure in fabrication construction projects
* Deep understanding of modern fabrication techniques, construction standards, and offshore project execution
* Strong experience managing HSE systems with occupational health and safety certifications preferred
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse construction teams and complex project environments
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client management and stakeholder coordination
* Strong problem-solving ability with adaptability to changing project demands and site conditions
* Willingness to work across multiple locations and extended hours based on project requirements
