About the Job

Join our dynamic team as a Technician in Mechanical Maintenance, where your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and assets. You will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance work that guarantees the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Key Accountabilities

Maintenance Execution

- Execute assigned maintenance jobs in accordance with risk assessments and ADNOC HSE Procedures.
- Conduct scheduled predictive, preventative, and proactive maintenance on plant equipment according to approved Procedures and Work Instructions, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on various types of equipment independently with minimal supervision.
- Report on assigned tasks through established communication channels.
- Accurately record time in SAP for all activities performed.
- Provide technical feedback in SAP notifications for completed jobs.
- Observe equipment status during routine inspections, identifying abnormalities and reporting defects to the relevant line.
- Assist and conduct major and minor repairs on critical equipment during shutdowns while maintaining a comprehensive log of jobs performed.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance HSE practices, the maintenance program, and equipment reliability.
- Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for new projects.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, shutdowns, silent hours, and plant startups.
- Contribute to the design of the On Call system for managing unplanned shutdowns and process upsets.
- Operate, repair, and perform functional testing of lifting equipment to recognized standards.
- Participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery, notifying the immediate engineer of any malfunctions or defects.
- Conduct new installations, modifications, and testing of equipment, ensuring adherence to technical instructions and parameters before handing over to Operations.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and isolate faulty components on rotating and static equipment using manufacturer manuals, drawings, and diagrams.
- Perform shutdown maintenance, repair, and overhaul on all rotating and static equipment.

Workshop & Spare-parts

- Operate and maintain the mechanical workshop, ensuring proper lubrication, gauge checks, and the maintenance of tools and equipment as per OEM specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all HSE and fire safety regulations, observing all requirements stringently.
- Discuss work assignments with the Supervisor, examine faulty equipment to determine the scope of work, and gather necessary tools and spare parts before commencing tasks.
- Identify required spare parts for maintenance work from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.

Minimum Requirements

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualifications.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of various mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with standard plant safety procedures and quality maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and technical report writing skills in English.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of a wide range of equipment in production facilities within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE requirements for field maintenance jobs.
- Hands-on experience with basic office software, including MS Windows and MS Office.
- Proficient in using documentation and reporting procedures for abnormal conditions.
- Working knowledge of Operation & Maintenance manuals and engineering documents/drawings to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues, ensuring optimal equipment functionality.
