Technology Portfolio Planner - Strategy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is an Oil and Energy opportunity for an experienced planning and project management professional who can support technology portfolio strategy, annual performance planning, budget coordination, master scheduling, progress reporting, and innovation project governance across ADNOC Group. The role supports the Upstream Technology and Innovation center by improving planning discipline, monitoring project cost and schedule performance, supporting KSI tracking, and helping technology initiatives move from strategy and pilot phase toward measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical planning, strategy, and performance support to the Manager, Technology Portfolio Management and Strategy.
* Coordinate planning and performance tasks for the Upstream Technology and Innovation center.
* Collate, review, and prepare capital and operational budget plans for technology unit activities.
* Maintain systems and procedures related to project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, reporting, and progress trending.
* Develop and update the master schedule while monitoring multiple projects against schedule, budget, cost, resources, and time-overrun risks.
* Support timely execution and completion of technology portfolio projects through structured monitoring and control.
* Lead the initiation and definition of the annual performance process with relevant teams and stakeholders.
* Support the annual KSI process by helping teams develop, quantify, translate, track, and close performance indicators.
* Assist teams in gathering required evidence in line with ADNOC Group performance best practices.
* Support audit reviews and define new processes to ensure audit compliance across planning and performance tasks.
* Conduct research, data analysis, and performance assessments to support business decisions and strategic planning.
* Monitor project management procedures linked to technology and innovation portfolio operations.
* Plan and coordinate technology seminars with technology partners and Group Companies to share relevant advancements across ADNOC.
* Prepare and review scope documents for service contracts, work orders, modifications, and rectification works.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure scope alignment, timely processing, and effective work execution.
* Support development of Technology balanced scorecards for monitoring digital solutions performance across ADNOC and Group Companies.
* Prepare presentations, reports, documents, and ad hoc administrative materials when required.
* Manage or advise on studies assessing opportunities within the technology portfolio.
* Support quality control and peer review for selected technology portfolio projects.
* Assist in deployment of successful pilot projects in coordination with technology solutions teams.
* Contribute to budgets, MIS reports, progress reports, performance objectives, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Master’s degree will be preferred.
* Minimum 10 years of professional experience in planning, project management, portfolio coordination, or performance management within a large organization.
* Asset management experience will be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of project planning, master scheduling, progress measurement, cost monitoring, budget coordination, and resource tracking.
* Experience supporting technology, innovation, digital solutions, or strategic portfolio initiatives will be valuable.
* Able to prepare capital and operational budget inputs, performance dashboards, reports, presentations, and management updates.
* Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to interpret project, performance, and financial information.
* Self-starter with urgency, ownership, and the ability to work productively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working with Group Companies, consultants, contractors, vendors, shareholders, and internal stakeholders.
* Able to support audit readiness, process improvement, governance discipline, and performance reporting in a structured corporate environment.
