Key Responsibilities
* Lead governance and prioritization of the Value Management Portfolio to ensure initiatives align with corporate strategy, affordability, value impact, and capital efficiency objectives.
* Review, challenge, and validate business cases, financial assumptions, baselines, cost-benefit models, and sensitivity analyses.
* Oversee benefits realization tracking across the portfolio, ensuring identified, approved, and realized value is clearly monitored and reconciled with financial outcomes where applicable.
* Establish standardized portfolio governance frameworks, value tracking methodologies, approval gates, and savings validation protocols.
* Integrate value-based KPIs into corporate scorecards, divisional performance reviews, and management reporting processes.
* Lead cross-functional optimization programs covering procurement efficiency, workforce productivity, digital value realization, shared services transformation, and cost-to-serve improvement.
* Provide portfolio-level oversight of CAPEX and OPEX optimization initiatives to ensure measurable returns and disciplined execution.
* Escalate portfolio risks, deviations, governance gaps, and delivery challenges in a timely and structured manner.
* Oversee the development and continuous improvement of portfolio reporting, dashboards, validation tools, and management information.
* Coordinate with Group Companies, Finance, Strategy, portfolio managers, and business stakeholders to align baselines, methodologies, reporting definitions, and value realization expectations.
* Support governance reviews, assurance activities, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and adoption of value management practices across the Group.
* Plan and supervise department personnel and resources to achieve division objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner.
* Support personal development plans, succession planning, talent pipeline development, and Emiratization objectives.
* Monitor department budget expenditure, investigate significant variances, and support effective cost control.
* Lead implementation of approved policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls.
* Prepare department MIS reports, progress updates, portfolio insights, and management information for executive decision-making.
* Promote innovation, change management, process improvement, HSE compliance, sustainability, and ADNOC Code of Practices requirements.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* MBA is preferable.
* Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in value management, portfolio management, corporate finance, performance management, transformation, project controls, or strategic planning.
* Strong experience in large and complex organizations, preferably within oil and gas, energy, utilities, or other asset-intensive sectors.
* Proven ability to review business cases, validate financial models, track benefits, manage budgets, and oversee performance reporting.
* Good understanding of CAPEX and OPEX optimization, productivity improvement, cost management, value assurance, and portfolio governance methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, governance processes, senior stakeholder engagement, and alignment across multiple business units.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
* Able to translate portfolio insights into actionable recommendations for senior decision-makers.
* Proficient in portfolio reporting tools, dashboards, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience with enterprise planning or tracking tools will be an advantage.
* Knowledge of risk management, change management, and governance frameworks in transformation or portfolio environments.
* Excellent English communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder influencing skills.
* Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, PMP, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
