Group-wide category leadership directly influences procurement savings, supply resilience and long-term enterprise value. This executive


will translate business priorities and market intelligence into disciplined sourcing strategies, contracting models and supplier-performance frameworks. The position requires commercial authority, cross-functional influence and consistent governance across a complex procurement ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
The Vice President will set strategic direction while ensuring that category plans produce measurable financial and operational results.

* Lead Group-wide Category Management and Market Intelligence activities.
* Align category strategies with ADNOC\'s commercial priorities and long-term business objectives.
* Establish governance for high-value, technically complex and business-critical categories.
* Form and direct cross-functional category teams involving Technical and Procurement stakeholders.
* Develop category plans supported by expenditure analysis, market evidence and supply-risk assessment.
* Identify sourcing levers that improve cost, quality, service and contractual outcomes.
* Select contracting models suited to operational requirements and market conditions.
* Establish supplier-performance frameworks with clear measures and accountability.
* Oversee tendering processes and ensure transparent commercial evaluation.
* Direct contract-development, award and administration practices across assigned categories.
* Govern change orders, claims and contractual issues through consistent approval controls.
* Confirm compliance with procurement policies, delegated authority and business requirements.
* Drive financial savings while protecting supply continuity and technical performance.
* Strengthen procurement capability through coaching, standards and repeatable methods.
* Promote alignment between senior stakeholders, category owners and commercial teams.
* Lead strategic supplier relationships and resolve material performance concerns.
* Identify procurement and contracting risks before they affect business delivery.
* Guide complex negotiations involving price, risk allocation and contractual obligations.
* Improve category-management processes through performance evidence and market insight.
* Advance operational excellence and continuous improvement across the procurement function.
* Present category decisions, risks and value-delivery results to executive leadership.
* Build a culture of commercial discipline, transparency and accountable execution.

Ideal Profile
Candidates must hold a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or an equivalent discipline. At least 18 years of contracts-management experience within a large oil and gas organization is required, including a minimum of ten years in progressively responsible managerial positions.

The successful executive will bring advanced expertise in category management, contracts, tendering, strategic sourcing, procurement governance and supplier management. Strong commercial judgement, dispute-resolution capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders across a complex international organization are essential.
