As an HSE Officer at Opisok Ortho Specialized Clinic, you will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and food safety programs in compliance with UAE regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, including food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse, production facilities, and food handling areas, identifying and mitigating potential hazards associated with foodborne illness and contamination.
Investigate accidents and near misses related to food safety and general operations, report findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Provide ongoing safety and food safety training and education for all employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to safe work practices and HACCP principles.
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specific to food handling operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records, including food safety documentation.
Stay informed of current safety regulations, industry best practices, and food safety standards like HACCP.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety and food safety into all aspects of our operations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety supervisor role, ideally within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of UAE health and safety regulations, including Federal Law No. (6) of 1976 Concerning the Regulation of Industrial Relations, and food safety regulations.
Proven knowledge and application of HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a food or beverage manufacturing setting (a plus).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to prioritize safety and food safety practices.
Proficient in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, with a focus on food safety hazards.
