Role Context
The Team Leader - Reverse Logistics will support Amazon\'s MENA Reverse Logistics Operations team by monitoring multiple operational sites from performance and compliance perspectives. The role will help ensure that customer returns, transportation activities, vendor services, and new operational launches meet expected standards.
The team leader will review daily program results, investigate performance gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders. The position will also contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives involving returns processing, delivery experience, financial auditing, alternate delivery services, and operational cycle-time improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor the daily performance of reverse logistics programs across multiple operational sites.
* Review site compliance with agreed operating procedures, service requirements, and performance standards.
* Develop daily action plans to improve performance and achieve program targets.
* Identify operational strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities within transportation and returns processes.
* Investigate disruptions, recurring defects, missed targets, and unusual performance patterns.
* Use operational data to determine root causes and recommend practical corrective actions.
* Track corrective actions through completion and measure whether they deliver sustainable improvements.
* Map business requirements and translate them into operational or functional specifications.
* Review existing business processes and analyze end-to-end workflows.
* Design practical solutions that simplify operations, reduce delays, and improve customer experience.
* Prepare functional documentation for new processes, tools, and program changes.
* Develop and maintain performance metrics for reverse logistics and transportation operations.
* Prepare daily performance summaries for operational managers and relevant stakeholders.
* Produce executive updates covering performance, risks, launches, vendors, and improvement actions.
* Support forecasting, budgeting, and operational analysis activities.

* Contribute to financial auditing programs involving vendors, returns, transportation, or service delivery.
* Identify and assess alternate delivery or logistics service options.
* Manage vendor relationships and monitor external partner performance.
* Communicate expectations clearly to vendors and follow up on operational commitments.
* Coordinate ramp-up activities for expanding programs, new vendors, or additional site capacity.

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, operations, engineering, or a related discipline.
* Fluent written, spoken, and reading ability in English.
* Experience in an operational role is preferred.
* Previous exposure to reverse logistics, transportation, returns management, fulfillment, or delivery operations is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and operational trends.
* Ability to identify root causes and convert findings into practical action plans.
* Experience preparing daily, weekly, or executive-level performance reports.
* Strong understanding of operational workflows, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
* Experience coordinating with vendors or external service providers is beneficial.
* Ability to manage several sites, stakeholders, and operational priorities simultaneously.
