Role Context
The Arabic A Coordinator - Language will support the planning, delivery, monitoring, and improvement of Arabic A instruction across the school. The role contributes to stronger Arabic language outcomes by guiding teachers, reviewing lesson plans, tracking student progress, coordinating assessments, and ensuring that classroom practice supports curriculum expectations, student engagement, and school academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Arabic A curriculum planning, lesson delivery, assessment schedules, and academic documentation.
* Support Arabic teachers in preparing effective lesson plans, learning resources, classroom activities, and student support strategies.
* Monitor teaching quality through classroom observation, review of student work, and regular feedback to teachers.
* Track student progress in Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
* Review assessment results and help identify students who need additional academic support or enrichment.
* Guide teachers in using effective classroom strategies that improve Arabic A learning outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records related to curriculum plans, assessments, student performance, and department activities.
* Work with school leadership to support academic improvement plans, inspection readiness, and curriculum quality.
* Coordinate Arabic language events, cultural learning activities, competitions, and student enrichment initiatives.
* Communicate professionally with teachers, parents, coordinators, and school leaders when required.
* Support inclusive learning practices by helping teachers meet the needs of students with different ability levels.
* Ensure Arabic A teaching standards remain consistent, organized, and aligned with school expectations.
* Contribute to a positive language learning culture across the school.
Ideal Profile
* MA or BA in Arabic Language is required.
* Degree certificate should be attested from the UAE.
* Minimum 1-2 years of UAE experience in the same field is mandatory.
* Experience in a British Curriculum school will be an advantage.
* Fluent English communication skills are required.
* Strong knowledge of Arabic A curriculum delivery, language development, and classroom teaching practices.
* Ability to coordinate teachers, monitor academic progress, and support curriculum improvement.
* Good organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
