Role Context
The Arabic Teacher - British Curriculum will support student learning by planning and delivering Arabic lessons that are clear, interactive, and aligned with school expectations. The role contributes to language development, classroom engagement, academic confidence, and a positive learning culture by encouraging students to participate actively and improve their Arabic language skills through structured teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Arabic language lessons to students in line with school curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
* Create an engaging classroom environment that supports participation, confidence, and positive student behavior.
* Plan lessons that develop Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
* Use age-appropriate teaching methods, activities, and learning resources to make Arabic lessons meaningful and accessible.
* Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, observations, and regular feedback.
* Support students with different learning abilities and encourage inclusive participation in classroom activities.
* Maintain classroom discipline through strong organization, clear expectations, and respectful communication.
* Work with the academic team to support curriculum delivery, student development, and school standards.
* Communicate professionally with students, parents, and colleagues when required.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, lesson plans, and student performance.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere across the school.
* Support school events, language activities, and cultural learning initiatives when needed.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Education, or a related field.
* Native Arabic speaker with strong command of Arabic language and grammar.
* Experienced Arabic teachers as well as freshers are welcome to apply.
* Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to create a supportive, respectful, and student-focused learning environment.
* Understanding of student learning needs within a school setting.
* Positive attitude, patience, and commitment to quality teaching.
* Immediate availability will be preferred.
