Key Responsibilities

* Deliver inspiring Art lessons that support creativity, confidence, and strong student outcomes.
* Plan, prepare, and present learning sessions aligned with curriculum requirements and student needs.
* Support students in developing visual expression, practical art skills, observation, imagination, and creative thinking.
* Organise classroom provision, displays, learning resources, and art materials to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
* Use enthusiastic and imaginative teaching approaches to motivate pupils and encourage active participation.
* Work alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons and maintain consistent curriculum delivery.
* Support the full ability range through differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practice.
* Observe, assess, and record student progress in line with school assessment expectations.
* Use Target Tracker and assessment data to guide future planning, learning provision, and intervention.
* Reflect on classroom practice, lessons taught, student progress, and curriculum delivery to improve outcomes.
