Role Context
The Foundation Stage Teacher - EYFS will support early childhood learning by creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment where children can develop confidence, communication, curiosity, and foundational academic skills. The role contributes to school quality by delivering EYFS-aligned lessons, supporting home room teaching responsibilities, tracking student progress, and encouraging positive social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Foundation Stage and home room lessons in line with EYFS Curriculum expectations and school academic standards.
* Plan age-appropriate lessons, play-based activities, learning centers, and classroom routines that support early years development.
* Build a warm and inclusive classroom environment where young learners feel safe, confident, and encouraged to participate.
* Support student growth across communication, language, literacy, numeracy, personal development, creativity, and physical development.
* Observe, assess, and document student progress through classroom activities, learning evidence, and regular feedback.
* Use varied teaching strategies, stories, songs, practical tasks, visual aids, and interactive resources to engage young learners.
* Manage classroom behavior through positive routines, clear expectations, patience, and child-centered communication.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, coordinators, and school leadership to maintain strong early years learning standards.
* Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress, classroom routines, and learning support.
* Maintain lesson plans, assessment records, learning journals, attendance, and academic documentation accurately.
* Support students with different learning needs and encourage inclusive participation in daily classroom activities.
* Contribute to school events, early years activities, parent engagement sessions, and classroom displays when required.
Ideal Profile
* B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
* B.Ed certificate should be attested from the UAE.
* Postgraduate or undergraduate qualification in a relevant subject is required.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the same field is mandatory.
* Good knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum is required.
* Experience in a British Curriculum school will be an advantage.
* Excellent English communication skills are required.
* Strong classroom management, organization, and early years teaching skills.
* Ability to create engaging, child-friendly lessons and support young learners with patience and care.
* Professional, positive, and committed to student development.
* Ability to join in January 2026 is required.
