Role Context

The Head of KS2 - Academic Leadership role supports Al Shohub Private School in maintaining strong academic standards, effective curriculum planning, and clear progress expectations across Key Stage 2. The role requires a leader who can contribute to the academy improvement plan, support self-evaluation targets, and ensure that learning remains inclusive, structured, and aligned with the needs of students in a British curriculum primary school.

This position also carries responsibility for supporting staff practice, assessment systems, curriculum continuity, safeguarding expectations, and student progress across different ability levels. Key Responsibilities

* Support the academy’s vision, strategic intentions, improvement plan, and self-evaluation targets.
* Help develop, review, and evaluate relevant schemes of work across Key Stage 2.

* Maintain suitable provision for SEN, gifted and talented, and EAL students.
