Key Responsibilities
* Teach Islamic Studies and Arabic lessons in line with school curriculum expectations and student learning levels.
* Plan well-structured lessons that support knowledge, understanding, communication, and active student participation.
* Deliver Islamic Studies content with clarity, respect, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
* Support Arabic language development through reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar-based activities.
* Create a positive classroom environment that encourages discipline, confidence, respect, and inclusive participation.
* Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, observations, tests, and regular feedback.
* Maintain accurate lesson plans, attendance records, assessment notes, and student performance documentation.
* Use suitable teaching resources, classroom activities, and digital tools to make lessons engaging and effective.
* Support students with different learning needs and encourage steady academic improvement.
* Work with department heads, teachers, and school leadership to maintain curriculum quality and classroom standards.
* Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues when required.
* Contribute to school activities, cultural events, assemblies, and student development initiatives related to Islamic and Arabic learning.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Islamic Studies is mandatory.
* B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
* Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in a similar Islamic Studies or Arabic teaching role is required.
* Previous experience in British Curriculum schools is preferred.
* Strong subject knowledge in Islamic Studies and Arabic language teaching.
* Ability to manage classroom routines, student behavior, and lesson delivery professionally.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, organized, and committed to building a positive learning atmosphere.
* Ability to support students with varied academic abilities and language levels.
* Candidates under sponsor or spouse visa will be preferred.
