Position Overview
Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of the 2026/27 academic year in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the England National Curriculum.
The role requires effective curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, student assessment and positive behaviour management. Candidates should be committed to educating the whole child while creating an inclusive learning environment for pupils with different abilities and language backgrounds.

The Mathematics Teacher will take responsibility for classroom learning, assessment and student progress. The position also involves family communication, curriculum collaboration, extracurricular participation and contributions to the wider life of the assigned school.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons.
Ensure teaching meets England National Curriculum requirements.
Inspire students to succeed and achieve strong academic outcomes.
Develop pupils’ mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Prepare learning activities suitable for the full ability range.
Differentiate instruction according to individual student needs.
Support pupils who speak English as an additional language.
Organise classroom resources and displays that encourage active learning.
Motivate students through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.
Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of assigned classes.
Observe and assess pupils in accordance with school requirements.
Record student development using Target Tracker or other approved systems.
Use assessment data to improve planning, provision and intervention.
Identify learning gaps and provide suitable academic support.
Reflect on teaching effectiveness and adjust planning when required.
Collaborate with teachers to develop effective learning experiences.
Work cooperatively with curriculum-support professionals.
Meet with speech therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when required.
Embed the assigned school’s Teacher and Learner DNA throughout the curriculum.
Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
Provide parents and carers with clear feedback on student progress.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other family meetings.
Use CPOMS and other approved school systems appropriately.
Follow behaviour-management policies consistently.
Manage classes using approaches suited to pupils’ individual needs.
Promote high standards of behaviour, independence and self-control.
Model the attitudes, values and conduct expected from students.
Participate in curriculum action groups and team initiatives.
Support curriculum planning, assessments, resources and special events.
Contribute to school events, outings and community activities.
Attend occasional activities during evenings or weekends.
Lead one weekly extracurricular activity during each term.
Maintain strong safeguarding and child-protection practices.
Complete professional duties in accordance with school policies.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education.
Mandatory PGCE or another recognised postgraduate teaching qualification.
Minimum one to two years of relevant teaching experience.
Experience teaching the England National Curriculum is required.
Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum planning and assessment.
Experience supporting students who speak English as an additional language.
Secure knowledge of safeguarding and child-protection requirements.
Passion for teaching and commitment to educating and nurturing children.
Professional, calm and approachable manner.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Warmth, empathy, integrity, confidence and a child-centred approach.
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong information technology and online teaching capabilities.

Ability to obtain a satisfactory enhanced DBS check or police clearance.
Available to commence employment in August 2026.
