LEAMS Education is seeking an MSC and Humanities Coordinator - Curriculum Quality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a full-time opportunity in the Primary-Secondary Education industry. The position requires an experienced educator who can coordinate Moral, Social and Cultural Studies and Humanities within a British curriculum school.
The selected coordinator will support consistent curriculum planning, effective classroom delivery, student assessment, teacher development, and alignment with relevant KHDA expectations.

Role Context
The MSC and Humanities Coordinator will provide academic direction across subjects that help students understand society, culture, identity, geography, history, citizenship, and the UAE context. The role will establish a coherent learning journey while supporting teachers in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
Strong coordination will improve consistency across year groups, strengthen academic evidence, and ensure that curriculum objectives are reflected in daily teaching and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Moral, Social and Cultural Studies and Humanities curriculum delivery across relevant grade levels.
* Develop subject plans that reflect British curriculum expectations and applicable KHDA guidance.
* Ensure learning objectives are sequenced appropriately and covered within the academic calendar.
* Support teachers with lesson planning, resource selection, instructional strategies, and assessment design.
* Review classroom delivery and provide constructive feedback that improves student engagement.
* Promote teaching methods that encourage discussion, inquiry, critical thinking, and cultural understanding.
The coordinator will work with teachers and academic leaders to identify curriculum gaps and introduce practical actions that strengthen subject quality.
* Develop shared assessments and support consistent marking and progress reporting.
* Analyze student performance information to identify strengths and areas requiring intervention.
* Coordinate teaching resources and maintain organized curriculum documentation.
* Facilitate collaborative planning meetings and subject-focused professional development.
* Encourage projects and activities that connect classroom learning with UAE society and wider global contexts.
* Support cross-curricular initiatives involving citizenship, culture, history, geography, and community awareness.
* Maintain evidence required for academic reviews and inspection preparation.
* Provide school leaders with updates on curriculum implementation and student achievement.
* Contribute to departmental improvement plans and wider school priorities.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Humanities or a closely related subject.
A minimum of 1 year of UAE experience in a similar position within a British curriculum school is required. Candidates should understand curriculum coordination, classroom expectations, and academic quality practices.
Excellent English communication and knowledge of the KHDA framework will be preferred. Applicants must currently be physically present in the United Arab Emirates.
Candidates holding their own valid UAE visa or a spouse-sponsored visa will receive preference.
