Role Context
Emirates British Nursery follows the Early Years
Foundation Stage framework and the principles of the British National Curriculum. The educator helps children establish essential knowledge, skills, confidence, and understanding while maintaining their welfare across nursery locations in Motor City, Mirdif, The Villa, and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver educational activities suitable for young children.
* Implement learning programs aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Promote independent learning through structured activities and purposeful play.
* Support children\'s physical, emotional, social, and educational development.
* Maintain a caring, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment.
* Encourage participation, acceptance, and inclusion among all children.
* Modify activities to support individual abilities and developmental needs.
* Observe children and identify their strengths, interests, and support requirements.
* Monitor and assess individual progress.
* Record observations in each child\'s Learning and Development Profile Book.
* Participate in preparing developmental assessments and written reports.
* Maintain careful supervision during classroom activities and daily routines.
* Protect children\'s welfare, health, safety, and security.
* Follow safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
* Report developmental or welfare concerns through the appropriate channels.
* Organize classroom resources and maintain safe learning areas.
* Collaborate with nursery colleagues to deliver consistent care and education.
* Support clear communication concerning children\'s learning and wellbeing.
* Complete additional reasonable duties assigned by nursery management.
Ideal Profile
* University degree in Early Childhood Education or Education.
* Applicants with a degree in another specialization require a certified Level 3 qualification in early childhood care and education.
* A high school diploma combined with CACHE Level 3 may also be accepted.
* Candidates following the high school qualification route require at least 2 years of childcare or education experience.
* Native-level English proficiency is essential.
* Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Able to prepare engaging activities for different developmental stages.
* Understands the importance of inclusion and individualized learning support.
* Confident observing, assessing, and documenting children\'s progress.
* Patient, caring, responsible, and attentive.
* Committed to safeguarding and maintaining a secure nursery environment.
* Currently living in Dubai or already planning to relocate is preferred.
