Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding UAE National Personalised Learning Specialist to join Rabdan Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the 2026/27 academic year. The role will provide subject-specific interventions and personalised academic support to individual students and small groups.
The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers and subject leaders to plan targeted programmes that address learning needs and deliver measurable progress. The position requires experience in special educational needs and the ability to adapt resources and teaching strategies across subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science or Arabic.

The Personalised Learning Specialist will combine subject knowledge with specialised learning support to help students engage with the curriculum. The role includes intervention planning, progress monitoring, assessment preparation and coordination with teachers and other support professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Support individual students and small groups during lessons and structured intervention sessions.
Deliver targeted learning activities using subject-specific expertise.
Plan intervention programmes in collaboration with teachers and subject leaders.
Ensure intervention content aligns with curriculum objectives and individual student needs.
Help students make measurable progress in identified areas of learning.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to different abilities and progress levels.
Monitor student engagement, understanding and academic confidence.
Observe and record progress during classroom activities and intervention sessions.
Identify areas requiring further support and contribute to planning discussions.
Update student records and progress data to measure the impact of interventions.
Provide constructive feedback that encourages improvement and independent learning.
Deliver in-class support that reinforces key concepts and learning objectives.
Help students prepare for assessments and examinations.
Teach effective revision, study and retrieval-practice strategies.
Coordinate the work of other support staff when assigned.
Promote consistent implementation of shared intervention objectives.
Prepare, organise and maintain learning materials and teaching resources.
Display students’ work to celebrate achievement and improve the learning environment.
Assist with classroom routines, attendance and resource preparation.
Support end-of-day classroom organisation.
Supervise students in classrooms, corridors, break areas and other school locations.
Support students during educational visits and wider school activities.
Promote student wellbeing, confidence and responsible behaviour.
Maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Follow school policies relating to safeguarding, health, safety and behaviour.

Ideal Profile
UAE National with a diploma or recognised qualification in Special Educational Needs.
Minimum two years of experience supporting students with special educational needs.
Subject-specific expertise in English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic or another curriculum area.
English-language proficiency or fluency in the language used to deliver the relevant curriculum.
Ability to plan and deliver structured academic intervention programmes.
Experience adapting materials and learning strategies to different student needs.
