Role Context

The Primary Teacher - Inclusive Learning role supports high-quality classroom teaching at a large Abu Dhabi Charter School following the US Curriculum. The teacher will help students from KG1 to Grade 5 develop independence, confidence, communication skills, and strong learning habits through well-planned lessons and inclusive classroom practice.

This position requires a reflective teacher who can monitor progress, adapt planning, support different ability levels, and build positive relationships across the school community. The role also includes assessment, parent communication, behaviour support, curriculum teamwork, safeguarding awareness, and contribution to extra-curricular learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver inspiring lessons that help students achieve the best possible academic and personal outcomes.
* Teach in an inclusive and engaging way that encourages independence and confidence.
* Plan, prepare, and present lessons that meet curriculum requirements and student learning needs.
* Organise classroom resources, displays, and learning spaces to create a positive and motivating environment.
* Use enthusiastic and imaginative teaching approaches to support student curiosity and participation.
* Work with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons and share effective classroom practice.
* Observe, assess, and record student progress in line with school assessment expectations.
* Use Target Tracker and assessment data to guide planning, provision, and intervention.
* Adjust classroom environment, lesson planning, and curriculum delivery based on student progress.
* Support students for whom English is not their first language through clear and inclusive instruction.
* Cooperate with curriculum support staff and external professionals where required to support child development.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and carers about student progress and wellbeing.
