Key Responsibilities
* Assist with restaurant cleaning and dining area preparation before service begins.
* Clean and organize service utensils ahead of each meal period.
* Support the Captain Waiter with restaurant setup and table preparation.
* Assist with mise en place to ensure service items are ready before customers arrive.
* Maintain clean personal presentation and high standards of hygiene throughout the shift.
* Transport prepared food safely from the kitchen to the dining area.
* Assist the Captain Waiter with placing food dishes on customer tables.
* Refill drinking water when required during service.
* Replace ashtrays where applicable and maintain table cleanliness during the meal.
* Clear tables promptly after guests have finished dining.
* Clean and reset tables so they are ready for incoming customers.
* Carry used plates, glasses, cutlery, and other items to the designated dishwashing area.
* Keep service areas organized and free from unnecessary clutter.
* Respond promptly to instructions from the Captain Waiter during busy service periods.
