Role Context
The School Receptionist - Front Desk will act as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors while supporting the smooth flow of communication across the school. The role contributes directly to parent experience, student service, front office coordination, and administrative accuracy by ensuring that calls, inquiries, records, appointments, and visitor procedures are handled professionally and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome parents, students, staff, and visitors with a polite, professional, and helpful approach.
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and front desk inquiries, then direct messages to the appropriate school team.
* Maintain accurate visitor logs and support school entry procedures in line with safety and security expectations.
* Assist with student registration, admissions coordination, document collection, and record filing.
* Update student information, school records, and front office data with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support communication between parents, teachers, administrative staff, and school leadership.
* Handle routine clerical tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
* Coordinate courier services, incoming mail, outgoing correspondence, and front office deliveries.
* Assist with scheduling appointments, parent meetings, school activities, and administrative calendars.
* Keep the reception area organized, presentable, and ready to support daily school operations.
* Perform additional administrative duties assigned by the school administration team.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
* Previous experience in a school, nursery, training center, or education environment is preferred.
* Candidate must be on own visa, preferably husband or father-sponsored.
* Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
* Arabic communication skills will be an added advantage.
* Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Confident handling calls, visitors, parents, and school-related inquiries in a professional manner.
* Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple front office tasks during busy school hours.
* Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with school administrative systems or student information systems is an advantage.
* Immediate availability will be preferred.
