The role is focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, recruitment events, candidate management, documentation, onboarding support, compliance, and workforce planning for Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies teaching roles. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of MoE, Principals, hiring managers, P&C leadership, marketing teams, and school stakeholders to attract strong teaching talent and support high-quality recruitment outcomes.

Role Context
The Talent Officer - School Recruitment will act as a specialist recruiter for MoE subject teaching roles, helping schools secure qualified educators in line with workforce plans, safeguarding standards, and annual hiring timelines. The role combines strategic recruitment support with hands-on delivery, including candidate sourcing, selection coordination, contract follow-up, document verification, ATS updates, recruitment reporting, and hiring manager guidance. By building strong teacher pipelines and maintaining a positive candidate experience, the post holder will support Aldar Education’s growth and contribute to the wider goal of strengthening education outcomes across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full-cycle recruitment for MoE subject teachers, including Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies roles.
* Align recruitment activity with workforce plans, school requirements, annual hiring cycles, and subject-specific talent needs.
* Act as a trusted recruitment partner to the Director of MoE, Principals, hiring managers, and school leadership teams.
* Provide candidate recommendations, market insight, recruitment advice, and structured support for school-based hiring decisions.
* Design, organize, and execute MoE recruitment events in the UAE and internationally to attract qualified teaching talent.
* Create and update job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers, subject leads, and relevant school stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for key teaching vacancies across operated schools.
* Own initial screening, shortlisting, and interviewing based on job requirements, subject needs, and school preferences.
* Guide hiring managers on structured interview practice, scoring rubrics, evaluation methods, and consistent selection standards.
* Coordinate interview schedules, prepare panels, collect feedback, support post-interview decisions, and manage next-step communication.
* Prepare and issue contracts to selected candidates, then follow up to ensure timely completion and return.
* Collect and verify onboarding documents, including passport copies, attested qualifications, safeguarding checks, references, and regulatory documentation.
* Maintain accurate recruitment records, interview notes, offer letters, visa application materials, candidate files, and compliance evidence.
* Ensure safer recruitment practices are followed, including document checks, background screening, reference verification, and regulatory compliance.
* Maintain candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System and ensure data is accurate, complete, and compliant with data protection policies.
* Track vacancy status, recruitment progress, offer stages, onboarding completion, and hiring KPIs through dashboards and recruitment trackers.
* Submit regular vacancy and recruitment status reports to P&C leadership and school Principals.
* Promote a positive candidate experience through clear communication, timely updates, and professional follow-up.
* Share internal vacancies transparently across the group to support internal mobility and career development.
* Collaborate with marketing teams on job adverts, visual recruitment campaigns, employer branding, and social media outreach.
* Organize and attend recruitment fairs, career expos, online talent events, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
* Use LinkedIn Talent Solutions, job boards, CV databases, professional networks, and social media channels to source candidates proactively.
* Train new Talent Team members on recruitment systems, portals, workflows, compliance requirements, and best practice.
* Provide ideas for improving recruitment processes, candidate experience, reporting quality, and hiring manager support.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
* Additional HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition qualifications are welcome.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or MoE subject recruitment.
* Experience in the UK, US, or UAE education sector is highly advantageous.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is essential.
* Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, teacher hiring, candidate screening, structured interviewing, and selection methods.
* Experience with volume recruitment and managing multiple vacancies across different schools or business units.
* Good knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, including Oracle or similar platforms.
* Confident using LinkedIn Talent Solutions, job boards, CV databases, professional networks, and social media sourcing methods.
* Familiarity with ADEK, KHDA, or similar government education authority requirements.
* Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and recruitment compliance expectations.
* Able to build positive and influential relationships with school leaders, hiring managers, candidates, and internal teams.
* High level of discretion, diplomacy, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
* Strong attention to detail with diligent follow-up and the ability to complete tasks within required timelines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable maintaining trackers, reports, candidate data, and recruitment dashboards.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively across P&C, marketing, school leadership, and talent teams.
* Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, and handling pressure in a fast-paced hiring environment.
* Flexible and adaptable, with experience delivering results in changing or ambiguous recruitment conditions.
* Proactive in identifying improvement ideas and willing to take accountability for recruitment outcomes.
